WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS IF YOU MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS.

Qualifications Effective Immediately:

You must have a referral letter from a case manager or referring agency (NO EXECPTIONS)

If you do not have a referral letter and you're claiming homelessness, you must be registered with 211, living in a local shelter, or hotel with proof of receipts! 


•You must be working and your rent cannot be more than 60% of your income. Example: if your income is $2200.00 per month your rent has to be less than $1,320.00 because that is 60% of your income.

  • If you are living with a family member that is not considered homeless under the guidelines of our program. There are programs that help with moving if you're not homeless, our program is specific to active homeless families and individuals.

  • WE DO NOT OFFER BACK RENT PAYMENTS.  WE DO NOT PAY FOR HOTELS.

  • Non lease renewal (If your lease is not being renewed you may apply and must have a letter from the landlord for verification)

  • Section 8 applicants that meet the requirements may apply. (copy of your voucher and passed inspection are required)

  • Fire victim families currently homeless may apply. (Displacement letter required)

  • Evicted Families may apply. (Notice to quit possession letter is required

  • Returning home from incarceration? You may apply (You must be working)


•CURRENT victim of domestic violence needing to relocate with verification (Active protective order and current police report)
•Must not have received security funds within the past year from any other organizations. 

  • Applicants are responsible for the background check fee; fees will only be waived for applicants that are victims of fire loss or applicants that have zero income. 

  • Background checks are MANDATORY no exceptions.

Your response will be returned within a 48 hour period. At the time of scheduling, you will be provided with a list of documents that you will need to bring. Please note, you will be scheduled for intake if you have found an apartment and have already been approved. We do not locate apartments, all clients must locate their own apartments.

Manchester, Marlborough, Newington, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, Somers, Suffield, Tolland,
Vernon, West Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor, and Windsor Locks.
