You MUST have a referral letter from a case manager or referring agency (NO EXECPTIONS) If you do not have a referral letter and you're claiming homelessness, you must be registered with 211, living in a local shelter, or hotel with proof of receipts!
Section 8 recipients do not qualify for security deposit assistance.
You must be working or have another source of income. Pay stubs are required and employment will be verified.
If you have received a deposit from us before, please be advised you will not qualify for a second one.
If you have received a security deposit from another agency within the past 12 months, please be advised you will not qualify. We do verify.
Fire victim families that are currently homeless may apply. (Displacement letter required)
Evicted Families may apply if you have not received funding within the past 2 years from any other program.(Notice to quit possession letter is required) Returning home from incarceration? You may apply (You must be working).
Applicants are responsible for the background check fee; fees will only be waived for applicants that are victims of fire loss. Background checks are MANDATORY no exceptions.
We offer one month's security up to $1500.00, we do not offer 1st month's rent. If approved the funds will go directly to the landlord.
